Flipkart has finally revealed the discounted price for the OnePlus 3 that can be availed by customers when its Big Shopping Days Sale goes active at 11:59 pm tonight. In a new poster shared by the e-commerce major, OnePlus 3 will be available at Rs 18,999 – a massive Rs 9,000 discount on the phone’s original price of Rs 27,999. This makes it essentially cheaper than the OnePlus 2, which is retailing at Rs 19,999 on Amazon at the moment.

OnePlus 3 will only be available at this discounted price until 4 pm December 18 or until stocks last. This is one of the best deals we have heard about recently on a premium smartphone like the OnePlus 3, and we expect the phone to be sold out within minutes.

The OnePlus 3 discount has come as a surprise even to the global head and co-founder of the company who in a tweet to the co-founder of Flipkart, questioned “What’s this? We’re exclusive with Amazon”. OnePlus then sent out a press statement reiterating their partnership with Amazon India; advising customers to purchase the device from official channels saying ‘we cannot guarantee the authenticity of the products sold elsewhere.

OnePlus 3 was recently overshadowed by the launch of OnePlus’s mid cycle flagship upgrade – the OnePlus 3T. The new OnePlus 3T brings slight upgrades over the older phone, which was launched just six months ago.

For a recap, the OnePlus 3 features a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The phone is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor that is coupled with an Adreno 530 GPU. The phone features 6GB of RAM and 64GB of non-expandable storage. OnePlus 3 comes with a 16MP primary camera with an f/2.0 aperture, phase detection auto-focus, LED flash and optical image stabilisation. The front camera is an 8MP shooter also with an f/2.0 aperture. The phone is backed by a non-removable 3000 mAh battery that support Dash Charge.
